I decided to enter the pet portrait swap exhibit at EBSQ assuming I'd get to paint a dog or a cat portrait. I was quite suprised when my email was answered by Janelle Dixon with photos of pigeons! Not just any pigeons, but Hungarian Giant House pigeons! Little did I know that pigeons not only make an interesting pet, but they are also a lot of fun to paint.
